21 Day Fix

I started the 21 day fix on May 5th, weighing in at 154.  I did it religiously and didn't cheat once and my meals were on point!  However, I did not drink the shakeology shakes.  The shakes were not something that I wanted to start.  I didn't want to lose weight drinking the shakes, stop drinking them and then gain the weight back.  I've been on a that vicious cycle before.  Trying fad diets, losing a lot of weight and then gaining it back.  I decided this was something I was going to do long term, perhaps for life and I defintely didn't want to drink shakes for the rest of my life.  If it took me a year to get where I want, then so be it.  I was patient, at least I thought I was.

The first week, I lost 3 pounds.  The second week, I gained 1 pound.  The third week, the scale didn't move.  So, for the 21 days, I lost a total of 2 pounds.  I did lose a few inches, but I didn't get the results I had hoped for.  I did, however, feel strong and healthy.

I was a little disappointed that I didn't lose more inches in the lower half of my body.  I decided instead of doing another round, I  was going to try Brazil Butt Lift.  I already had BBL, so it wouldn't cost me any extra money.  I searched my house everywhere and couldn't find all of the videos.  I took a week off, ate what I wanted and got off track again, gaining the 2 pounds back I had lost.  I decided that I was not going to let myself get in that trap again.  I was going to keep going.  I decided to not follow the 21 day meal plan, but continue with working out while still making healthy meal choices.  I am currently on day 4 of round 2.  After I finish this round, I will try a different workout.

Turbofire

My goal is to be at my ideal fitness level and weight by this time next year.  So, I have time to try all of these, I just need to decide which one to do first.  I decided to share my experience here.  One day, I will post my before pictures.
